Nurseline: Get Your Questions Answered

It’s 11 o’clock at night and you have a nagging pain that’s worrying you. You look on the internet trying to figure out what your symptoms mean but you’re not finding anything that helps. There has to be a better way, right? Well, there is!

Through the Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Montana (BCBSMT) Nurseline, Medicare Advantage members can talk to a registered nurse at any time: 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year. We created Nurseline because we all know that health issues don’t follow a 9 to 5 schedule.

When you dial 800-631-7023/TDD 711, you’ll be connected with a registered nurse who will listen to you, ask you the right questions and make sure you get some answers. Our nurses have helped Medicare members like you on a large variety of topics, including:

  • Diabetes
  • Dizziness
  • Headache
  • Asthma
  • Falls
  • Chronic pain
  • High fever
  • Cuts and burns

If you just want general information, the Nurseline also gives you access to an audio library of more than 1,000 health topics, with 600 of them in Spanish. 

It’s important to remember that if you have medical emergency, or think you’re having a medical emergency, it’s best to call 911 for immediate help. The Nurseline is not intended to replace the care of your doctor; however, it can help you decide if you should call a doctor, go the ER, urgent care or retail health clinic, or treat the problem yourself.

When you call, you’ll need your member ID card handy. Add this number to the contact list on your phone or write it down and keep it on your refrigerator:
