Ingredients: Makes 8 serving
8 Sprays Nonstick Cooking Spray
1/2 tsp Kosher Salt
1/8 tsp Ground Black Pepper
2 pounds Ground Chicken
1/2 cup Yellow Onions, Diced
2 TBSP Fresh Jalapenos, Minced
1/4 cup Fresh Cilantro, Chopped
8 Whole Wheat Hamburger Buns
1 TBSP Olive/Canola Oil 90/10 Blend
Directions
- Saute onions in olive oil until translucent, add cilantro and jalapenos, remove and chill thoroughly.
- Add the mixture to the ground chicken and blend. Add salt and pepper.
- Hand form into 4oz. patties and refrigerate until ready to cook.
- Cook burgers on griddle that is sprayed with nonstick pan spray to internal temp of 165 degrees.
- Place on 2.75 oz wheat bun and serve.
Note: Once patties are formed they may be placed in the freezer for a few minutes to firm up, this will make them easier to handle.
